The mail-in application deadline was Dec. 4, sorry!

Hi – if I missed the open call in California can I mail in the application and when is it due? Thanks!

I am so excited about driving to Memphis from Atlanta next weekend to audition for the second time! I have been trying to decide on what to wear and what photos to bring with me! Is anyone else from Atlanta driving or flying to Memphis?

    Posted by admin

Dress to impress, with your hair and make-up done as if you are going on a modeling go-see. But remember to bring comfy shoes in case your feet hurt in line. ;) Cindy will be posting audition tips tomorrow — check back (or follow us on Facebook/Twitter) for updates!

Is there a weight restriction? I'm about 5'8", about 160 (heavier than I like to be). I've watched season 1 and 2 and would love to try out for season 3. I'm 58 years old. What do you think?

    Posted by Valencia Walker

Hi Courtney you have to attend one of the regional casting calls as well!

    Posted by N Onuora

I am now panicked about the application. Actually 3 questions were left off and others were not pasted in properly the boxes properly. I will just re-submit and print out the new responses to bring with me as hard copy.

    Posted by Shawna

Any requirements on how to dress for the audition and call back?

    Posted by N Onuora

When completing the online application, the last 2 questions (biography & appearances in the last 2 years) did not show up until after I clicked the "Continue" button to print out my responses and the release/waiver. Can I write those responses in and bring the print out with me to the audition? I just don't want anyone to think I purposely left those 2 questions blank. I applied/auditioned last year, so I was surprised when those two questions did not appear for me on the online application. Any other suggestions?

Will there be other casting calls besides the four that was announced

It's the producers' discretion, but no height requirement is listed in the rules. Some of the ladies (Hope and Bahia) from Season 1 were told they were too short at 5'6" but made it on the show. Good luck!

    Posted by admin

Both the production site and our PRIME blog highlight when each applicant should be available for a callback — and for details on the actual show production timeline, please refer to the official rules at http://www.tvlandmodelcasting.com. Here is a part that may be helpful:
"It is currently anticipated that the Competition will take place in Los Angeles, California approximately between January 11, 2010 and February 19, 2010. THE PROGRAM DATES AND LOCATION SET FORTH HEREIN ARE TENTATIVE ONLY AND SUBJECT TO CHANGE AT ANY TIME AND FROM TIME TO TIME BY PRODUCER."

I just read Cindy Season 2 Winner of Shes Got The Look experinces after she won! I am so glad to hear that she is actually getting work! Winning the title is great but after that you want to obtain actual paid modeling assignments! So glad she is doing that because that is so inspiring to me especially as an African American model myself! I plan auditioning again in Mephis on December 13. I auditioned in October 07 and Beverly Johnson absolutely loved me! That meant the world to me!

Is there a height requirement for the contest? I am not top mod tall and wondering, I can't find anything that says there is…I just imagine us shorter girls get cut quick.

    Posted by patmo

Very sweet they're going to the west coast for season 3! When will the finalist be notified, and when will the competition take place? Will finalists be given enough time to make necessary arrangements for the competition?

    Posted by admin

They are working on resolving the printing issues on the model application site. You may want to try again and bring that copy with you to the casting call to be safe. Thanks, and good luck!

The date, time and location of the Columbus call is listed in this blog post (see above). Please click on the How to Apply link for an application, rules and notes on what you need to bring. Also, remember your photo ID! In the past, our winners have recommended that you bring water, snacks and comfy food since the wait can sometimes be long.

I will be attending the Ohio casting call. Can you please tell me which hotels are in the area, what I am required to bring, what is recommended to bring. What time and where will the casting call take place, and how many days will it take place? I appreciate any information you can give me. Thank you for your time, Trish Bennett

Wow! It's back! I saw it last season for the first time and I was hooked. As a 44 year old woman who's told often I should be a model, it looks like I'm getting a chance to try. I can't wait to see you, I've just got to pick the city!

    Posted by calisha

yea…MIAMI is a HUGE modeling market why cant they have a location in the South? Everytime they have a casting it is so far.. That I cant make it!

    Posted by admin

    Hi there,
Yes, you must attend a regional casting call in one of the four cities in person. Please see Sections 2 and 3 of the rules at http://www.tvlandmodelcasting.com/ for specific details on how to apply. Remember, you must send in an entry submission online or via mail by Dec. 11, 2009 (the postmark date must be Dec. 4 or sooner) — unless you are printing it out and bringing it with you to the casting call. Good luck!

    Posted by Lorna

I will be there!!!!! Thank you so much for the opportunity!!!

    Posted by Courtney

It was hard to understand from what I read but can you submit your application online if you dont live in or near a city of an open call? Or do you have to attend an open call at one of the cities listed to be considered? If anyone knows, please let me know.
    Thanks so much
