TV Land PRIME will add a slew of family-themed shows to its roster in 2010, including Emmy-winning favorite Everybody Loves Raymond. The Long Island-centric show revolves around The Barones, helmed by patriarch Ray and hampered by his eccentric parents — who live across the street.
"Everybody Loves Raymond is one of TV’s quintessential comedies, and we are thrilled to have the Barones join the TV Land family,” stated TV Land president Larry W. Jones, who also unveiled the addition of three more shows to the net in the coming year: Boston Legal, Home Improvement and The Nanny.
"[These shows] all speak to our audience of 40-somethings in different ways," Jones said. "From an office-based dramedy to family-oriented comedies, the themes and relationships in these series continue to make us laugh."
Raymond debuted in 1996 and ran for nine seasons, during which it garnered rave reviews and a slew of industry awards. It will premiere on TV Land PRIME in the second quarter of 2010. Tool time comes when Home Improvement and barroom brawler Boston Legal bow in the first quarter, while New Yawka-accented sitcom The Nanny will debut in the third quarter.
TV Land paid its own special tribute to Raymond in 2005, when the series wrapped its final season.

Remember when TV Land showed classic tv? Those were the good old days. Dobie Gillis, Patty Duke, My 3 Sons(b&w), Mr. Ed, B&W Petticoat Junction, My Favorite Martian, Dick Van Dyke, etc.etc.etc. Now, you can't tell TV Land from TBS or USA, or any other of 100's of channels. But the young yuppies that program the station never saw these shows. They watched Cheers when the were kids. That's "classic" to them.
I love TV Land, watch it every day.
Nanny, another whinner
Please don't bring the loud mouth of Joan Rivers back.
I am a big fan of Boston Legal and Home Improvement, glad to see them come aboard. I am not a fan of Raymond, he's to whinny.
Any chance of some of the old westerns coming aboard any time soon?
Please don't make any changes with The Roseanne Show. I like her and the tme slot she's in.
With these extra shows coming a board, does this mean you can finally get rid of those blame infomercials.
Home Improvement = I guess. Raymond = maybe, Boston Legal = Are you kidding me?
Maybe you can start running big bang or mentalist before it goes off the air.
TV land used to be home to classic tv…no more. RIP.
These shows are seen enough on other channels. Bring Back the GOOD OLD Shows from the 1960, 1970 era!!!!! miss seeing them on…….
I am happy to hear this. I love Everybody Loves Raymond, but could you please not show so much of Debra being so mean to Raymond. I like them both, but don't you think you over played her as wearing the pants in that family. Before they got married and even afterwards, she and he got along playing their individual roles and she is the one that was adaamant about moving across from his parents, then once they did, he gets blamed for it, like everything else. No wonder he circles the block before actually coming home.I get that he is not the best family man in helping out with what goes on around home, but stil the way that she treats him is awful and a very bad exxample for homes across America.
Again you have not listened to the public. We want classic tv shows. The shows that you have added can be seen on every other station. I do like Raymond but it is on about five other stations during the day. The same thing for Home Improvement. What ever happened to the old shows
I looove "Everybody Loves Raymond"! This will make up for the network losing "I Love Lucy"!
YEAH!!! I love Ray, The Nanny and Tim the Toolman!! So glad these are all coming to TVLand…..I just hope they'll be on during Prime Time or Daytime and not late late at night.
Great news! I love Everybody Loves Raymond and Home Improvement. Now let's work on getting The Walton's back on TV and this 40-something is a TV Land addict!
