TV Land has greenlit a second season of the popular reality series How’d You Get So Rich? starring the notoriously uncensored Joan Rivers. It will premiere May 5 at 10P/9.

The TV Land PRIME original series will once again take viewers on a journey to meet mega-rich millionaires who worked hard and struck gold. As Rivers tours the most lavish and extravagant homes, she introduces viewers to folks who made a lot of money in out of the ordinary, fascinating ways and asks all the questions no one else would – in the way only Joan Rivers can. How’d You Get So Rich?

"It’s so exciting for us to work with our friend, the incomparable Joan Rivers and bring How’d You Get So Rich? back to TV Land," said TV Land president Larry W. Jones. "Viewers were very inspired last season by the stories of these millionaires who went from rags to riches – some of whom were mowing lawns and are now collecting Bentleys!

"It is truly the American Dream, proving anyone can do it, and there is no one other than Joan who can do a better job of finding out how in the world these people got that rich!"

"I'm thrilled to be back on How'd You Get So Rich?," noted Rivers. "It's so much better than hosting How’d You Get So Poor?… and when I say "rich," I mean RICH. People who Oprah will borrow money from. People who will use Dr. Ruth as a paperweight and people who when their computer breaks Bill Gates comes by to fix it."

Among the fascinating stories featured in the first season was Joan's visit to the home of the inventor of the BillyBob Teeth — who grew up dirt poor and now owns the largest house in Illinois; a trip to the Versace mansion now owned by a telecommunications tycoon (who once went door to door selling cordless phones); and a visit to the 11,000-square-foot Tampa Bay home owned by the father of the infomercial who made "Ginsu" a household name.

Everybody Loves TV Land!

TV Land welcomes the hilarious Barone family when the Emmy Award-winning sitcom Everybody Loves Raymond premieres on the network March 18 with a four-day primetime event.

The series will join the schedule for a primetime block each weeknight at 9P/8. Viewers will fall in love all over again with the antics of Ray Barone’s entire family, from over-bearing mother Marie and wise-cracking father Frank, to his wife Debra’s no-nonsense impatience and the incessant sibling rivalry between Ray and younger brother Robert.

The winner of 15 Emmy® Awards, Everybody Loves Raymond ran in primetime on CBS for eight seasons. The premise was born out of Ray Romano’s own life experiences of raising his children along with his wife, all while his parents and brother lived close by. Romano plays Ray Barone, father of three and a sports writer for a local newspaper. Patricia Heaton plays his wife Debra, who endures her husband’s overbearing parents, played brilliantly by Doris Roberts and the late Peter Boyle. As in real life, Ray’s brother Robert, played by Brad Garrett, is a policeman who lives with his parents. Guest stars for the series run included hilarious appearances by Kevin James, Fred Willard, Georgia Engel and Chris Elliott.

Hope for Haiti Now Benefit to Host Superstar Lineup Friday

"Hope for Haiti Now: A Global Benefit for Earthquake Relief" today announced the addition of new musical artists and celebrity participants to its lineup. The telethon will air on Friday at 8P/7.

Newly added performers include Beyoncé in London, Madonna in New York City, and Haitian artist Emeline Michel in Los Angeles. They will join the previously announced lineup, which includes Wyclef Jean, Bruce Springsteen, Jennifer Hudson, Mary J. Blige, Shakira, and Sting in New York City; Alicia Keys, Christina Aguilera, Dave Matthews, John Legend, Justin Timberlake, Stevie Wonder, Taylor Swift and a group performance by Keith Urban, Kid Rock, and Sheryl Crow in L.A.; plus Coldplay and a group performance by Bono, The Edge, Jay‐Z, and Rihanna in London.

In addition to musical performances, Wyclef Jean in New York City, George Clooney in L.A., and CNN’s Anderson Cooper reporting from Haiti, "Hope for Haiti Now" will feature former President Bill Clinton, Ben Stiller, Brad Pitt, Chris Rock, Clint Eastwood, Denzel Washington, Halle Berry, Jon Stewart, Julia Roberts, Leonardo DiCaprio, Matt Damon, Meryl Streep, Morgan Freeman, Nicole Kidman, Robert Pattinson, Samuel L. HSR's Eric: Standing on the Tracks, Confronting My Past

This blog is a commentary on the premiere episode of High School Reunion from castmate Eric. hsr3_eric_ep1

I decided to come to this reunion for many different reasons. As I went through high school I tried to hide as much as possible, and only allowed myself to open up to those individuals with whom I felt safe. Because of this, I feel I really kept myself from getting to know others and connect with them. This reunion was a chance to take advantage of an opportunity to make friends with people who I avoided in high school and possibly confront someone who had picked on me. It was also a chance to challenge myself and help me grow as a person. In high school I was not a confrontational person. I avoided it whenever possible. Being gay and having seen the show, I presumed I would have the opportunity to confront someone from my past who ridiculed me for who I was. Luckily I had that opportunity.

There were many people who ridiculed me in high school. The person I ended up confronting was John. Since I had the opportunity to confront John with how he treated me in high school, and being that I'm not very good with confrontations, I rehearsed what I was going to say to him. But unlike what happened in previous seasons on the show, my detention with John wouldn't end on a positive note, so my rehearsals were in vain.

Standing on the train tracks with the rain falling on me, I heard John's voice pierce the tension and anticipation I was feeling. Instantly, I knew my detention with John wasn't going to go as well as they had in other seasons. Most of what I'd rehearsed vanished from my mind. I almost instantly resigned myself to the fact that John wasn't going to apologize for his actions in high school.

Part of me figured that John wouldn't remember me or the things he had said to me in high school, but I was hoping he would. I prayed he would at least listen to me and apologize, to say he was sorry that his words hurt me. All I had hoped for didn't happen. I have to say I was proud of how I handled myself. When John approached me, I wasn't prepared for him to instantly get in my face. No matter what, I was going to let him know that the things he had said to me in high school hurt me. We parted ways on a negative note, but I was fine with it. This isn't high school anymore, and people like him no longer have power over me like they once did.

I loved watching the scenes with Tracy B. and me. It meant so much to have her greeting me at the door of the reunion mansion. We weren’t close friends in high school, but we were acquaintances. Instantly I knew I had an ally. I was also relieved to see how the other classmates greeted me with open arms.

Only time will tell how things end up with John.

HSR's Elena: "Only My Boobs Are Fake"

First of all, Joe: only my boobs are fake.

It was great to jump out of the car and see all those familiar faces that I knew pretty well. I was happy that I was the last to arrive to the High School Reunion house and make my Summer Girl entrance.

I'm not ashamed that the Summer Girls take forever to get ready. We care how we look, but that doesn't make us shallow — it makes us smart ladies!

The house is nice but the grounds are breathtaking. And thankfully I got that bed or I would've been extremely upset. Having Rachelle in our room was cool, but Cyndi? She was never there! The other girls need to stop analyzing us and pick up some tips. Notice how we're supposedly the plastic ones, but we're not sitting there discussing them!

My classmates look good; not great, but good. I felt the same way I always do – I'm happy and I adapt to my surroundings. Of course I'm always gonna be boss lady. That's who I am!

It was good to sit and catch up with Lissette since we hadn't talked for a while. Ant is still a cool, chill dude so I was happy to have a brotha in the house. I was excited for Joe to bring another person to the house — and knew it would be one of the "CheerleadIRRS." But if they're trying to be Summer Girl haters, it's all good 'cause no one intimidates me at all. Jodi and Joe's lil' walk down memory lane was cute… for a minute. But I'm on Team Rachelle and Joe when it comes to this love triangle.

John is a jackass for his ignorance. I didn't understand what transpired till I watched Eric confront John. I knew a few things about John already, namely that he's an idiot when given alcohol and that he has issues with gay people. Really, John? Who in our generation has racial or sexual preference issues like that? He needs therapy.

Eric is such a sweetie. I remember him from high school, but I never knew he was gay. Good for you, Eric, for allowing yourself to be who you really are! I practice that attitude myself.

I think we had a great beginning to Season 3. The Summer Girls still rock, and like I said before: This reunion will not be boring!

Celeb Chemistry: Lisa and Harry Dance into TV Land

TV Land has announced it will host an original six-episode "reality docu-soap" called Harry Loves Lisa, which will feature outspoken actress Lisa Rinna and her Hollywood hubby, Harry Hamlin. The show will focus on their relationship, which is a bit of an "opposites attract" scenario. The series will be produced by Jason Carbone (Run's House).

Rinna and Hamlin will be seen navigating their lives as entertainment personalities and entrepreneurs, while maintaining a household and parenting their two daughters. One of Hollywood’s most enduring couples, the Hamlins are also known for their contradictory personalities — and honesty. The TV Land PRIME original series is scheduled to air in the fall.

"We are thrilled to be working with TV Land," the couple stated. "Our show will shine the spotlight on the adventure that is our life and the magic that holds us together."

"There is no denying the chemistry of this amazingly beautiful, smart and sexy couple,” said TV Land president Larry W. Jones. "When I met them, I was immediately blown away by their relationship.

"They are so proud and supportive of each other. It's clear why this relationship works on so many levels. Our audience will love seeing their honesty, humor and often-outrageous antics."

Rinna and Hamlin have been married for 11 years, and were audience favorites on Dancing With the Stars — a ripped Lisa appeared on Season 2 and handsome Harry starred in Season 3. Rinna's acting resume includes Melrose Place, and the outspoken star recently landed on the New York Times Best Seller list with her self-help tome Rinnavation. They also appeared together on the first season of Veronica Mars and in the Lifetime movie Sex, Lies & Obsession. In 2007, they co-starred in Broadway hit "Chicago."

The Yale-educated Hamlin first became known for his memorable starring role in Clash of the Titans, and went on to make a splash on the legal series L.A. Law — for which he garnered three consecutive Golden Globe nominations. He was also one of People Magazine’s Sexiest Men Alive.

Top 10 Mouth-Watering Thanksgiving Episodes

When it comes to comfort food, nothing beats the Thanksgiving meal. The tryptophan-laden, coma-inducing turkey surrounded by carbilicious mashed potatoes, cornbread dressing, stuffing, cranberry sauce, yummy marshmallows on the yams, whipped cream on the pumpkin pie… just thinking about it makes my mouth water, my belt tighten and my body image issues skyrocket.

Thanksgiving is like the patron saint holiday of comfort food. TV Land is the patron saint of comfort television (yes, I am a shameless shill for this delicious network). There are episodes on classic shows that, like Thanksgiving, you can return to year after year, get a warm, full feeling, then roll over on the couch.

Here are my Top 10 "Comfort View" Episodes:

1. “Dreams” M*A*S*H – I know it’s weird to start off with an episode that basically has an amputated Alan Alda, but this fantastic look at the 4077th’s members dealing with sleep deprivation and their inner wishes and terrors is the show at its most captivating. It’s a darker episode, but at least it’s not one of those over-sensitive Alda-ish nightmares that the show later churned out.

2. “The Walk” from Just Shoot Me! – the one with Nina’s mythical tailor Mr. Chan, “Even if he is just a floating head in a jar.” For 11 years I've tried to find a place in normal conversation when I can edge in a floating-head-in-a-jar reference. Sadly, it hasn't yet materialized. Also comforting in this episode is the appearance of Betsy Palmer, this time playing a waitress instead of playing Mrs. Voorhees in Friday the 13th.

3. “My Old Lady” from Scrubs – Anything with Kathryn Joosten screams comfort, especially as a patient who announces to J.D. that she is ready to die. Best moment of the show is when a ton of bricks actually falls on J.D. when he hears her decision.

4. “Party Invitation” from Leave It to Beaver – Beaver’s the only boy invited to a girl’s birthday party. Little did I know when I watched this as a kid that I would be in the same position many many many times when it would come to bridal showers. Ah, always the bridesman…

5. “Confessions, Confessions” from The Brady Bunch – Mom always says don’t play ball in the house. Nuff said.

6. “The Big Move, Part 2” from Good Times — Sorry to be morbid yet again (this is the post-funeral episode after James dies) but DAMN DAMN DAMN I love it. Bonus points if you know this reference. If not, then please imagine Esther Rolle slamming a punch bowl on the counter. I also recommend it as a form of therapy in any situation.

7. “Mirror Mirror” from Star Trek – Spock with facial hair is like the homemade cranberry sauce that your gourmet cousin brings over – it’s not from a can so it’s not what you’re used to, but it’s really cool and makes for an alternate universe Thanksgiving.

8. “Chato” from Gunsmoke – Ricardo Montalban as a conflicted villain makes for an episode as rich as my aunt’s gravy. Seriously, it could be a food group all in itself (the gravy AND Montalban’s performance).

9. “Baggage,” “Lies,” “The Angry Family” from Everybody Loves Raymond — It’s not on TV Land quite yet, but this show finally explains my childhood. I never understood what my mom meant when she said my grandmother was intrusive — until I started watching the Barones. When the show comes to TVL in 2010, check out how entire episodes can be based on leaving a suitcase on the staircase, lying about videotaping a game or hearing a child’s story. As Debra says, “How would you like to sit through two people in their sixties, fighting over who invented the lawn?” Um, I would (yes, I am a shameless, shameless shill).

10. Roseanne — Can’t choose just one episode here. Tuning into ANY episode is like scarfing down the bird, the pie, the plate, the table. You can devour every episode of this timeless show.

Happy Thanksgiving – get stuffed on TV (and some food, too)!

George Segal to Star in TV Land Sitcom

Oscar-nominated, multitalented actor George Segal will star as a hip dad in TV Land's upcoming pilot Retired at 35. The sitcom, along with comedy pilot Hot in Cleveland, is TV Land’s first foray into scripted comedy series and is being developed for TV Land PRIME.

Retired at 35 is penned by Reba's Chris Case and executive produced by Michael Hanel and Mindy Schultheis (Rita Rocks, Reba). Its lead character is a New York City office drone who departs the 9-to-5 routine for a leisurely life in the Florida retirement community — with his parents.

Segal will portray the father, who relishes his liberated lifestyle in the Sunshine State and helps guide his son through a midlife crisis. He is best known for his role as doting magazine dad Jack Gallo in Just Shoot Me, and most recently appeared in HBO's Entourage and ABC’s Pushing Daisies. He also starred on Broadway in "Art" and "Gideon."
